From the time we arrived at Mount Lavinia Hotel until the day of the Wedding  Lal along with the Hotel staff took any hassle or stress away from this very special occasion. So that we could enjoy it! despite the unpredictable weather. The day went without a hitch. Even the rain stopped to allow us to make the wedding in the Tea Garden.

We look forward to returning to this fantastic hotel one day to celebrate an Anniversary.

Everyone who works here are faultless and nothing is too much for them.

Probably one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and between us We have stayed in a lot.

 What an amazing experience, we could not have wished for a more special, unique and happy wedding,everything we had hoped for and more was provided by Mahesh, Lal and their team. From the day we arrived they did all they could to make us feel welcome, at home and special. Nothing was too much trouble even when we decided to have fireworks at the last minute. The Setting, Ceremony, Elephant,Fireworks and Food were truly amazing!!

 We know once we are back home we will miss the Hotel and staff but are sure we will return as soon as possible.

Mahesh was so attentive and professional in making all the arrangements and preventing any glitches. We would not have asked for anything better has it was all so perfect and unique. The views, weather and experience were amazing.

We had our wedding at Mount Lavinia Hotel in July 2012 and I must say it was the best decision ever! It is an Excellent Hotel, with great service, the best food and great hospitality. Thanks to Savio, the Asst Director of Sales at MLH who convinced us to have the most important event of our life at this wonderful Hotel.

We wanted to have a beach wedding and MLH is the only Hotel in Colombo with a private beach, so for everyone who is looking to have a beach wedding...MLH is the place in Sri Lanka. We also loved all the other venues there...The La Fontaine Room, Governors Roof Top, and my favorite...The Regency Room, that has a terrace over looking the ocean. We had booked ocean front rooms for all our guests and the view was absolutely stunning. Our guests were all very happy with the rooms and the facilities at the Hotel.

Our wedding was a BIG success, thanks to the staff at MLH. They went out of their way to make sure we got everything we needed. All the events were planned and executed by Nimanthi, Asst Manager - Catering & Conventions. She involved herself in the wedding like a family member and took care of every little thing we needed for the events and our stay at MLH.

As we all know, food is a very important aspect of any event. Thanks to Chef Indica and Chef Singh, the food at all our events was outstanding.

Also, a BIG thanks to Mr Anura, the GM. Mr Anura made sure we had all the support and guidance from the team at MLH. He gave us the confidence that everything would be taken care of and we must say, he and his staff have exceeded our expectations.

Thanks so much to the ENTIRE team at MLH for making our wedding such a success! We will always cherish our time spent at MLH and can\'t wait to plan our next trip there!

BRILLIANT HOTEL!!

This is out second visit in three years to hotel and it is still as wonderful now as 3 years ago. It is simply a beautiful Colonian Hotel and reminds me in Raffles Hotel in Singapore which in my view is a huge compliment.

We are here for 3 weeks and only have six days left to go but are in no way ready to go home. It cannot emphasise how brilliant all of the staff have been and find it almost impossible to single out one member of staff for special mention. The staff all go out of their way to make your holiday as memorable as possible,In short, this is a fantastic holiday with absolutely fantastic staff who will do anything they can to make your holiday memorable.The rooms are all lovely and in the main look out onto the beach although some also look onto the front of the hotel.
The food is also very good and at breakfast there is surely something for everyone as the choice is amazing.
We still have several days but already looking forward to our return.
In short, we simply love this colonian hotel and can find nothing but compliments to say about the hotel and its staff.
