Home to breezy beaches, mountainous peaks, varying climatic atmospheres and the phenomenal splendor of the mighty blue ocean, Mother Lanka is a rich environmental mix. Alluring and attracting in nature, protecting this diverse environmental treasure is our duty. Initiating a seeds for change program, Mount Lavinia Hotel staff distributed Brinjal seeds at the Mount railway station. Commuters although hurrying to catch their trains were happy to grab their packed seed envelopes. Furthermore, hotel guests were invited to plant 12 new coconut palm trees on the beach as a significant pledge to protect the environment. The trees will be named after the respective guests who helped plant the palm.
