(Paradise Beach, Mount Lavinia Hotel) The golden sandy shores of Mount Lavina were canvassed with an array of bright colors as the Holi festival kicked off on the 10th of March 2018. The annual festival is celebrated to pay homage to the symbolic triumph of good over evil.
Foreigners and locals alike were treated to the authentic festive spirit with a splash of colored powder, rain dances, Bollywood beats and the commendable eat-treats of Indian cuisine.
The event was organized by Mount Lavinia hotel in collaboration with COLIND – the Colombo Indians in Sri Lanka.
